Saw a nice one today on the road about 4:30AM, he already had 4" front hooks and was up another 4" on the main beams.

Just Got back from Ocean City and spent one morning driveing around assateague island. I saw 10 whitetail and only 3 sika. Seven doe and three bucks on the whitetail and all cows on the sika. Three out of the thirteen had radio collar transmitters on (2 whitetail doe 1 sika). I kept thinking that if I shot one I'd mount the head WITH the collar on. Great conversation piece!

Came upon two spikes along the road this morning about 4:30, looked like twins with 2" velvet stubs. Stood on the shoulder of the road, even with the bumper in the side glare of the headlights, just looking at me. Sat there for 4-5 minutes and they never got spooky.

Not a stag, just a hind, but you'll never guess where. Saw her 10am this morning along a road, stopped and looked at her for a few minutes but she ran off before I could get a pic. Well north of Hurlock!!!!!

Well North of Hurlock! That is crazy. Was it near the Marshyhope or any other wetland?

Closest major landmark was the Finchville light!
