I hunted fish&bay yesterday and was in stand by 1:30.At around 3:00 a guy walks in and starts putting up his stand about60 yards away directly up wind of me I let him know I was there and he still went up the tree that was the most disrespectful thing that has ever happened to me in the woods.

Have had it happen from Assateague to Grren Ridge, and everywhere in between. Don't know if it's just ignorance or jackassedness (Is that a word? If not, should be!) I TRY not to let it ruin my hunts, but sometimes does.

On Wednesday my dad and I were on public hunting land and had fox chasers in the woods. We had been there all day and about 1:00 I could here the dogs coming and the trumpet sounding. My dad was sitting on the edge of a field when a lady on a brown horse wearing tan pants and a black jacket comes out into the field the first thing she yells at the top of her lungs is "horse don't shoot". Then they come by me. I know they saw me I was wearing so much orange I cant be missed. They are yelling for each other and the dogs. There was 2 deer that had come in to me and were laying down about 200 yards away. In time I knew they would get up and come by me. But the noise had them gone fast. I know that they have as much right on the land as me but they need to wear orange and be more aware of the hunting seasons. This happens to us at least 4 times a year. I think I will head to my 3600 ac. of private land this weekend.

I too have had it happen. When I first started hunting I set up around 1:30. At 3:00 I watched as another hunter came in and started setting up fifty yards from me. I whistled and waved my arms, he turned and waved as if to say good afternoon fellow hunter and climbed up. I was pissed, any deer that would be coming by would be in the exaxt middle of us. I saw a doe at 4:00 and emptied my gun on her before he could. She was so far away I missed five times and she trotted off. I bet the other guy thought I was a lunatic.
