Okay, this is just TOOOOO wierd. Get back from a week in Ohio, had left my cam out at home, and this buck is on it. He may be another with an injured leg we saw two years ago that we haven't seen since, maybe he's moved in to inherit the throne?!?!

Is that antler on the deers right side or is that a tree branch. That thing must be about 18" long if thats his antler. I have seen some some crazy looking racks but nothing like that.

Gotta be a branch, looks too long and straight to be an antler.

If thats an antler, I have never seen a configuration of a whitetail antler like that period. Its gotta be a branch. Hopefully for Osprey were wrong. That would be once again a really rare trophy.

Dave you lucky bastard! What are you going out and shooting these things in the leg with a 22 and then waiting for them to get the non-typ racks. That's awesome. My best buck had the same thing, broken leg and crazy points.

That's cool - you'll have to wait a couple years on him - let some legend build up. Weird stuff on that side of the bay!

Looks to me like that is antler on the right side, really tall. I'll only wait a few years on him if he's smart and elusive. If he's the deer I think it is he already had a bum leg 2 years ago, he limped into my decoy while bowhunting, jumped the string at the shot and I clipped him on the leg again. We had some city guys hunting a parcel next to us for a few years and they would do tons of shooting during gun season, I think the cripples are from them cause they never actually seemed to kill any deer. But we've always had some wierd deer around, I think the salt in the soil does some crazy things to their racks. Few years ago we had a nice 120ish 8 pointer that broke off half his rack fighting. I had him in the scope during that gun season but let him go for the next season. Well, it must have broke right at the pedicle cause the following year it grew back with a cool double beam on that side! I was off on a trip, I think in Ohio, and Dad bowkilled that one from one of my ground blinds...
