Amazing! You got two bucks dukin' it out on your trail cam. I don't know if I have ever seen that before.
With the rut starting, isn't it odd to still see a bunch of bucks hangin' around the feed pile together?
Great pics, have fun huntin that spot.

Bulldawg I see you have eared corn and a box of shelled corn. Is there something mixed in with the shelled corn? How long have you had that feed site going?

I think those bucks may be hanging together because they know that they are on the bottom of the barrell when it comes to you know what....

Bulldawg I see you have eared corn and a box of shelled corn. Is there something mixed in with the shelled corn? How long have you had that feed site going? This is my 3rd year keeping that corn pile going. It's about 200 yards from my back door. I usually start the pile around the 1st of October once the corn is picked. In the box, I have some wheat that I'm trying to get rid of mixed in with some shelled corn. I used to put cheap horse feed in there in the past, but found that it turned to mush with just a little rain and wasn't worth the expense. Eared corn works the best in a big pile that I've found. Makes the deer work for it to get it off the cob, distracting them from the flash. It also keeps their head down to the ground and they have to stay longer on your cornpile to get a belly full giving you better chances at some unique pics as well as that perfect shot. I've actually found blood on my cornpile where the deer get fighting over it, especially the does. They like to kick.

Never thought about that - the deer have to stay longer to get what they want. Good idea.

Wow! those are some trophy class raccoons you got there, what are those brown things with the bones sticking out of their heads? I think I saw some of those during bow season but haven't seen any like that since gun season opened.
