Anyone here reload? I like to reload my own ammo, it saves me money and I imagine my loads are more consistant then factory loads between cartridges. I have a .30-06 that my dad bought for me when I was 11 (I'm 31 now), its never had factory ammo through it. it's fun to relaod.
if you reload or not, whats your ammo of preference?
for me, I like to use hornady interlock 165gr SPBT's (3045's) in my .30-06, easy on the pocket and seem to preform well (they've always left an exit hole after impacting a deer for me), and they group well at the range ... its nice to have a bullet that is cheap enough to shoot at the range, and that hold together well on deer. I used to shoot Speer Grand Slams (165gr) but that started getting pricey.

My father and I used to skeet shoot years ago and he would make all the rounds but not since then. I guess I'm too lazy and have to many other hobbies to keep me busy. I only shoot a bow and shotgun. Sometimes borrow a muzzleloader. Used to shoot expensive sabots but now shoot the cheapest slugs i find. (they make a bigger hole)
