No....Me too!
I keep meaning to go out to my shed and start taking out all my hunting gear, like my tree stand and boots and all, but I always leave it to the last week. Maybe I will get out there and do it this weekend

I just need to keep shooting a little and wash my hunting clothes. Just got Thermacell refills last night. I don't know why I'm getting so excited about it since I may not even get to hunt for another month. Our baby is due on Sept. 5th.

Had my second son born on Sept. 11th last year. Put a damper on opening month. I'll make up for it this opener! Gotta wash clothes and get a few odd ball things together.

I'm almost there. Stands are out, been shooting broadheads (sixty yards the other night and all in the center!), been on the shed roof glassing a few evenings, going to wash and hang out all the clothes this weekend, and since it's going to be nice I'm staying down the shack at least one night and get it cleaned and ready for all the hunting seasons (paint the woodstove, check the stove pipe, vacuum the dirt and wood chips, etc.). Of course I gotta shoot some doves and geese over the weekend, shame that will interfere with archery prep!!

ALl I have been doing is shooting my bow. At my 20 yard mark I can see 100 yards to my corn pile. Last night I saw for the first time what is really back there. Saw three bucks and four doe including a fawn. Two of those bucks are really really nice and the one will go on my wall if I get him!! If I were to get knocked out until Sept. 15th I could wake up and go straight into the woods!

Dont Feel Bad, all I have done is shoot my bow, havent had much time to scout, get anything unpacked or pick-up stufff i am out of. Work can really get in the way of the important things in life.

Hardcore, I know how tough it can be to fit hunting in with two little ones. Your wife must be a keeper to put up with it, but then again, my wife tolerated my absenteeism with 3 children in the 80's. It's proof that there are still a few good ones out there.... you the man !!

Been shooting, tried to do some scouting today but had my 2 year old daughter with me so I spent most of the time chasing lady bugs and grasshoppers. It was fun, but didn't make any progress for the 15th.

Shotgun, Muzzleloader and Bow are all sited in but I do not have any of my clothes ready or any of my other gear ready, but that should only take about a week to make sure it is all ready for my first day out.
