Well I guess I have enough evidence to release some sightings. I got a call from my sister back in July when I was in South Carolina, telling me about a white deer she saw in my parents front yard. I was sooo excited because I do alot of hunting there. I spoke to my mom the next day who said she has seen it three times before that. When I asked why she hadn't told me she said because I would kill it. I agreed and said thats the game plan. After returning I have been running 2 trail cams trying to get a picture. Nothing so far, just does, fawns, small bucks. Then yesterday I get a call from my little brother at 8:00 asking if I have ever seen a white deer. He said he thought it was a dog at first, but it was a deer with another regular one that ran into the woods when he pulled up. 5 sightings in the same spot in the yard, good sign that deer is hanging close by. Pulled my film tonight and develop it tomorrow. Might have the pieball deer on film??? I would rather shoot a pieball deer than a ten point, if that tells you how excited I am!

My wife killed a piebald spike here a few years back. We had seen 5 pt and a wide 7 pt piebald a bunch of times before the season, but never saw them once the season opened. Had never seen the spike until she dropepd the hammer! Typical, stubby legs and goat head. Will try to scan a pic sometime. The genetrics are here. Dang! I better get to sleep. Gotta get up in 3 hours! $#$@ insomnia!

Full body mount on a doe, depending on how much white. 70% or more full body mount. I got two rolls of filmed developed today, no pieball, only does, fawns, little bucks!

my dad's friend shot a perfectly symetrical albino 10 point several years back. he got a full body mount of it.
on one of the farms i hunt we aren't allowed to shoot white deer and now there is quite a few. i have had them within 3 steps of me in shotgun season and had to let them go.

Why aren't you allowed to shoot them? The farm wants them to reproduce? That would be especially tough for me to LET one walk. But I guess if you want to have places to hunt you have to follow their rules. I saw one a mile from my house 4 or 5 years ago. All white with a brown head in a soybean field. Did a u turn to go back and get a second look. That was the only time I have ever seen one in the wild.

the farmer just doesn't want us too shoot them. they are a real problem too. a white deer has genetic deficiency and it's just destroying the gene pool on that farm. we now have a lot of bucks that grow deformed racks and probaly close to ten white deer.

I saw her this afternoon. I went in around 3:30 to set up my new moultrie and put out some buck jam. Something in the opening caught my eye across the stream. Yup white. It was the piebald, a normal, and a three point with looong tines. I took the trail cam and out it on still pictures and took about fifty pics of the deer with the trail cam. Since there was no view finder not all of them came out, but some. I will email some to buckmaster. 50/50 -Rear white, middle mix, front brown. Stood out like a soar thumb blends in with the does summer coat. I think the winter coat would look alot cooler. I stalked within thirty yards, took like a half hour, then got busted. I wasn't even wearing camo, just khakis and a polo shirt.

had a nice 6 point behind the house a couple years ago when me and duckbuster were back there hunting, came right up between us but neither of us could get a shot.. if he is still around (which i doubt) he is probably a real nice buck by now.....

I know I look like an idiot in this picture. I was 15 or 16 at the time (I am now 28). I got this with my slug gun. My relatives jumped it up and took a long running shot and broke its leg. It ran by me less than 15 feet away and I dropped it in its tracks.

Awesome looking buck! What county? Frederick in point of rocks right along the power lines that run between 15 and ballenger creek. I was right along the enge of the woods and field standing behind a huge rolled bail of hay.
