Dave , I was REALLY hoping that your fine work rattled someone in regards to this nonsense, but it appears it's business as usual! Be nice if you could "remind" them of a few inconvienent facts in this case!
DNR Press Release:
DNR invites public to information meeting October 3
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Forest Service will hold a public meeting to present information on the newly established hunting tracts in Chesapeake Forest, on October 3 in Salisbury. The changes include expanding the forest’s public hunting acreage by 1,822 acres, and making 15 tracts available for leased hunting opportunities.
“After managing public and leased hunting in the Chesapeake Forest for the last 13 years, it’s apparent that the hunting community values both of these opportunities,” said Forestry Director Steve Koehn. “We want to make certain that anyone interested in why and how this decision was made has the opportunity to hear directly from us.”
The meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to hear a presentation from DNR Forest Service staff on the hunting tract changes and have questions answered by both Forest Service and Wildlife and Heritage Service staff regarding the new opportunities these changes provide. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 3 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Da Nang Room of the Wicomico County Civic Center, located at 500 Glen Avenue in Salisbury.

But they are going to explain "why and how" their decision was made: Maybe you could ask "WHEN", LOL?
You are probably right though: just get your blood pressure up, and nothing will come of it.

I'll go, but it probably won't be MY blood pressure that goes up!
