seems lately there have been more and more break throughs for gun rights and constitutional rights making there way back into the hands of those that would use them in the right way. There seems to be a bunch of cases going through the courts and getting favorable outcomes. This is just one of those that if enough people speak up and let there voices be heard they cannot be ignored. We shoudl all have the RIGHT to carry a consealed firearm if we choose to and are not mentally ill (Sorry Nalley, I still cannot believe they give you a gun) and/or a convicted felon. If you pass a back ground check and choose to carry a weapon you should have the right to do so in any state in AMERICA.. it is just fundamentally insane to me that people get to decide what a free American can and/or cannot do in their private lives.. If I want to carry a gun on me at all times it should be MY decision and my CHOICE. They sure do everything in their power to continue to allow felons out of jail to commit more crimes and just continue to slap criminals on the wrist.. Try enforcing some of the laws on the books already instead of sitting around thinking of ways to inflict your beliefs on the law abiding citizens of the free world. If you do not want the right to carry a consealed weapon then DON'T but you should not be able to make that decision for me.....

100% couldn't agree with you more Andy and the main reason why I choose to live in Virginia and drive quite a long ways to Maryland to work. I can't live in a state that denies me my right as a law abiding American to exercise my 2nd Amendment right to own and carry a firearm freely and without insane restrictions. DON"T TREAD ON ME!!!!!!

4th Circuit is one of the fastest, averaging 7 months on appeals, but mind you, that's an average and I wholly expect this to take much longer.
They also are pretty regular about granting stays when an appeal has been filed.
Even when/if we get past the "good and substantial" part, still a WHOLE lots of ways for us to get tripped up, regulartorily speakin'.
In the meantime, you can get a UT, AZ, or FL non res carry permit that MOST states recognize. (Funny- most states TRUST me, except the one I was born and raised in)
Best part is, until he retired recently, a FL non-res CCL was signed by CHARLES BRONSON.
