I had to shoot my pig that got loose couple months back. He turned kinda wild after a while and there was no catching him. But no, no real wild hogs. I hear its pretty cheap to go down to north carolina to hunt em. Summer time I think.

I heard wild boar hunting is great but be ready to run your ass off if you are on the ground. I used to live in Florida and friends of mine told me stories about boars ramming their trucks head first WITH a bullet or two already in them. Some of them lost their dogs to the boars and in one instance, a guy lost 2 pit bulls and had some huge dents in the side of his truck, and it took 6 shots to the head for one to go down

That is crazy. They sound like pretty tough animals. If I were to after them, it would be with my bow. ;D

Well, I got my Bufflo!! what and awesome time. Will send pics soon. As for them Hogs??? yes they are some tuff ones. broke a arrow off in one at 15yrds. tracked it for a mile. The guide looked at the shot??? was good but will live to see another day. So no Hog, out of 12 hunters only four hogs take. One had to be shot 3 times with a .357! TUFF as Nails. ;D

HEY fellas!,yah i'm tellin ya, behind whitetails, them hoggs are the greatest!went two yrs ago for a couple of pure russian imports up in upstate new york.i shot mine with a .338 win mag browning a-bolt at 20yds, it looked like i shot a baseball through him!!! blood pumpin out 2 feet on both sides of him,and that damn thing walked around snapping it's tusks for 10 to 15 seconds before he expired!!!now that's excitin' aint it? my buddy shot his with a bow-tech sampson drawin' 110 lbs, using mechanical broadheads and aluminum arrows.he took his shot at about 28yds,the arrow passed through, went another 15 yds, and buried half shaft in the ground.what an awesome display of lethality!!we got to see the pink mist went the arrow blew through!!wow, man, what a day.that hunt was in july, he was back the following january and scored with the same bow and set up on a 1900lb bull buffalo!!that is now on display, half body mounted, in his living room. well enough remenicing for now,got to go get in the hut, maybe i'll have a deer story tomorrow, who knows? let's hope. see-ya!

I will make a stand. I want to go hog hunting, it'll be fun!
