As crappy as this is going it seems like work. Yeah I work and when I want to hunt I go hunting. That's how I roll. I wish the red fox that ran by a little while ago would have stopped. Cause he would have taken a rage in the cage.

Well I gave up on the shore. Just nothing moving there so I am at a farm in Calvert that a friend of mine has permission on. So I am walking to an area to put a climber and jump 3 bcks out of the beans 1 6 point 1 8 point both hard horned and a velvet spike. So I hope that is the beginning of things to come today.

Shoulda stayed Fox, I rode down there after I went out for lunch to see if you were around, was a giant six point stag standing by the gate!!! Sika were really movng during the rain shower we had here just after noon, I swear they were everywhere!!!

Good luck fox, but I'm with osprey......All the way over there just to hunt for 3 hours? That dark shaggy stag was gonna come your way this afternoon. Osprey, does that mean that in 10 days, all of the mosquitos will be gone??

No Frank, the skeeters will still be here until frost. I call them seed bugs for next year... Yes Fox, the skeeters will be moving during the rut.

Not up to me, state contract ends Oct 4. State is too broke to extend it, so that's it for me. Wrapping up in Kent Co next week, DorCo will still have one or two guys spraying for a few weeks, but the weather makes it impossible to do much past mid-October.
