Man with the temps at 60 in the mornings I can't wait. I've been shooting with my little one. I feel sorry for anything that walks infront of us, she's gonna put the hurt on it.

I love these cool temps as well! Fall is my favorite time of year of course!I got a blind set up on a soybean field so I can take my 5 year old. He is really excited! I can't hunt till Sat morn so I am thinking I might take him sat eve with me. He has a nuclear ice bow and can't understand why he can't take it to shoot a deer!

Ahh... you can smell that fall weather in the air! I'm getting stoked!
They aren't deer, but there is a colony of squirrels going down Saturday morning and in the pot by the evening...a small offering to the hunting gods for a successful season! lol!

This waiting is torture. I've got three ground blinds ready, nice big old buck coming to feeder in daylight on a regular basis, crossbow dialed in. I feel like I'm as ready as I'm going to be. Really hard to concentrate on anything else.

It is torture! My blind survived the hurricane!! I need to finish my two big projects for my grad class and all my stress will be gone until I take two more classes in December! Note: no grad classes from Sept.25th to december 4th! I am going to hunt hard and get my little guy in the blind with me! I am also taking him into a ladder stand this year too! It will be a blast! Good luck and post pics!!! Even if it is a doe!

Does anyone know where to find a list if one exists of the top scoring deer in MD, Typical, Nontypical and for each category of weapon. If so let me know...thanks

I WAS ready, but with all the bugs that have come off the last few days I think I may wait until Thanksgiving to hunt this year.
