Do you ever feel like the deer know when the season ends? I talked to my dad(non-hunter) this morning. He said "You should have been hunting over here yesterday(Thursday)." I told him "the season ended on Wednesday, why?" He said when he came home from work at 5:00 there were seven deer in the front yard. 5 bucks and 2 does. He said they were just walking around in full daylight right out in the open. Oh and one had a 'broken' antler. I told him it probably already shed and the does might have been bucks who already shed. I have some searching to do.
Do you ever feel like deer have a sixth sense about when sundays roll around or the season ends or begins? I found it reasurring at least five bucks are still hanging out on one of my favorite properties to hunt! ;D

Happens all the time to me! Couple years ago,we went about 2 weeks without seeing a single deer here. Morning after the season,I'm out feeding the horses, and see 11 come over the fence!

It's not just deer. The stinking geese pass over the house so low now their tailfeathers almost brush the chimney!!!
