My dad does. He injured his elbow when he was a kid and only has limited mobility in that joint so he can not shoot a compound bow.

I have hunted with one before, borrowed one from a friend, but don't have one of my own to use. Can't justify the $ when I've alreay got a good bow. I found it to be a good tool in certain situations, but I can shoot my compound accurately at longer ranges than I could the crossbow.

Ive got a horton, lots of people used to frown on seeing me with a crossbow but now most are coming around. They are not as easy as people think, they think that its like a rifle but you still have to be very patient, shot placement, yardage, etc just like a compund bow. I have more confidence in my compound bow than i do my crossbow just from shooting it for so many years i suppose.

I'm looking to get into a crossbow, any advise on what to look for? Does anyone have a used one for sale? My father has a Bear Devastator he may be willing to let go. Its an older crossbow but it shoots great and is pretty fast. All it needs is arrows and a scope. It already has the scope rail on it.

Thanks prostreet, send me a PM or e-mail me some photos of it if you can get any and ask him what he might take for it. I've borrowed a Horton / Yukon 150 from a guy who just had hand surgery and can't use it. Right now I'm trying to get a feel for these things while I'm trying to figure out what I'll be looking for.
