What's everybody getting? Over 3" of rain here so far at nearly 6pm, but the tide is going to be BAD. Not high at my house unitl 9pm and it's already over the yard, driveway and most of the sidewalk. Hoping it doesn't hit the Isabel mark... Sika marshes will all be flooded out big time!

We've got about 6 1/2" here in Mechanicsville off the Patuxent. The river is up to the bottom of the pier and the rain is still coming down good. High tide comes at 8:15 tonight so I'm curious to see how high it'll come up!

So generally, high tide is about two feet below the pier. You can see how high it is here. Not crazy high, but I just wanted an excuse to go outside and get a picture of it!

I ended up with 6.5" or rain for this storm, 1.5" a few days ago. Tide was pretty bad, 8" deep over the sidewalks, flooded the garden and pumpkin patch, got into all the sheds and outbuildings. Thankfully I had the Jeeps and tractor on the septic mound, had a ways to go before getting over that. Kayak was floating nicely by the back door last night just in case.
Couldn't even get down to most of southern Dorchester this morning, the sika are probably swimming!
