Was thinking about getting a new arrow rest. Any suggestions?
I am wondering if anyone has ever had any problems with the drop away rests. Not sure about the moving parts.

Frank I use the Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter Fall Away Rest and have never had a problem with it and have killed some dandy bucks using it.

I was the same way with the drop away rest but I tell you I will never go back. It seemed with the normal rest no matter what I did there was some noise when I drew back. I use the G5 Expert II Arrow Rest and there is no noise at all. Now they have the Expert Pro Rest which is even better.
Also with the normal rest (minus the biscuit of course) there was the issue of keeping the arrow on the rest while you positioned yourself for a shot in the stand. The G5 (as do most) comes with a arrow holder that attaches to your bow that works great with carbon arrows. I can turn my bow upside down and it doesn't fall off.
I highly recommend the drop away rest especially the G5 it's awesome and I have never had an issue with it. Killed 3 with it last year. Bow was still on target when I pulled it out of the case this year.
