How's everyone's food plots doing? I spent yesterday replanting, between the drought and the deer eating everything, I didn't have a thing left. Had put in almost 3 acres of corn earlier in the year, tilled that under and put it in sorghum. One acre of Powerplant, a bean mixture, was mowed to nothing by the deer, tilled and replanted that to millet. Looking great with these rains, hopefully this will make something before fall...

Somehow, my clover doesn't look all that bad. A lot of grasses mixed in, but the clover is definately the major thing in there still. Tons of sign that the deer have been in there too.

Oh man, my clover is burnt beyond belief. Only 1.3 inches of rain here from the first week of May until this past weekend. It'll come back good in the fall when it cools down and we get steady rains, but done for the summer. Seeing more deer by my pond now, they have been drinking every night, two nice 8pt's night before last!
