Fox, I'm actually considering missing the opener for deer hunting. Haven't heard of a lot of birds around. Just haven't had the weather up North yet.

a few birds around mattawoman and nanjemoy but not a lot yet. still waiting for that cold. probably gonna wait til thanksgiving and the day after as a warm up for the last split when it gets good. hard to pass up the rut..

I think deer. Got a buddy bringing his boy down for youth day, hoping to get his first deer, so I'll probably bowhunt after I get them set up. But Friday I'll be in DE for the shotgun opener, with my flintlock!  |

I'll be heading over to the shore for the Waterfowl Festival...Always a great time...Then some teal, woodies and mallards while im in the area...A good chance to see how the 887 handles a few boxes of shells(hopefully). I gotta see how she handles under pressure...the extrema 2 will be in the bullpen if need be...good luck to all...

Few boxes of shells? Man, I'm usually able to pull a few limits out of a box. Maybe we can hit the trap/skeet range together, I'll show you a few things......  |
