Not only is the Rut heating up so are the temps for this coming weekend.
Does anyone think this will affect any Rutting activity or deer movement this Saturday?
I plan on sitting all day so I hope the action is GREAT!!

This weather makes me think about fishing instead of deer hunting!!! Still going to give it a try though.

I can only go for bout three hours in the morning. I don't think there will be as much movement but the rut has a funny way of getting the deer on there feet.

I hunted along the Monocacy river yesterday, I have never seen so many rubs and scrapes. I followed one rub line for at least 400 yds. By all indications it was a big deer. The only deer I saw all day were 3-4 running along a ridge, looked like they were being pushed by other hunters. Other than that NOTHING!!!

I would call my day today a slow one, but still time well spent. I actually saw more turkey than deer - too bad it's not April. It sure felt like it. I did see a nice young 5 pointer and a doe, but man did those turkey have long beards!!

I saw two bucks in the am. At 6:30 and at 6:50. Second one was a shooter for sure, but no shot. Boy was it warm!!!
