Congrats on your first bow kill, the smile on your face says it all. Not only a great accomplishment but a huge trophy as well, 11 1/16" beard and 1 1/4" spurs !! That's awesome!!

Congrats dude, that is awesome.... If i can get a few more under my belt with a shotgun i may try it with the bow.. though both the birds i got this year were under 20 yards.. that is awesome....

11 yard shot - I was shaking so bad I could hardly pull my bow back. Arrow fell off of the rest 2 or 3 times & I was waiting for the rascal to run away.

(I think the above accurately conveys the mix of, envy, jealously, elation, respect for your doing it the hard way, and the sheer awesomeness involved!)
That is one hell of a bird and one hell of a way of taking it. Congratulations sir! (next year, homemade longbow???)

I've wanted to make my own bow for a while now - just haven't gotten around to doing it. Maybe I'll take that as a challenge so I have reason to get the thing done. ;D

Deer Hunter, that is awesome most people consider taking a turkey with a bow one of the hardest challenges. WAY TO SMOKEM!!!! and a very nice bird to boot.
