If you video tape that you could win 10,000 dollars form AFV. Or be featured on the news, under cheap man dies and the worms eat his body. I think i hate trout fishing so much is because when I was a kid, my dad (non hunter and non fisher) took me trout fishing. He used corn from a can as bait and a bobber. We never even caught one fish. Didn't even know what one looked like till I saw it on tv. I vote for the dynomite.

ha ha ha,, yeah i had a buddy that had an under ground electric fence for his dog, he would take the collar off and throw it on the bad side of the fence and wait for our friends to show up to party and he would have a hold of his dog and say "hey can you grab that collar for me it got off the dog" and "BAM" they would get nailed.. it was funny till he got me ONE time.. still makes me laugh though...

I love these tangents that we go on!! Called The fishery and they told me that they stocked Myrtle Grove last sunday. Everyone in my Fam is sick so I am going to try to go this sunday. All the people that are retired or who have tons of money and do not need to work probably already caught all the trout but I can at least try!! I use a swivel also but not the sliding sinker. Need to look into how you rig that up!

How's the fishing in and around Howard County. I'll be up there this weekend and was planning on trying my luck. I was thinking about Centennial and Elkhorn Lakes, and maybe the Patuxent downstream of the dam. I haven't been in the area at all to scope them out. I'm just going by what seems close to Columbia and where stocking's going on. Also, I'm assuming there's crappie and other stuff to make it exciting?

I caught this about 6 weeks ago on the Tuckahoe over on the shore. The weird thing is that they had not stocked it yet for the year, so this was a holdover from last winters stocking. 17 1/2 inches caught on an chartruese rooster tail spinner.

nice fish... man i miss fishing for wild trout in Utah.. these stockers are fun to catch but it is not the same as going after a wild trout.. especially around my area where the fish don't get real big.. they are fished out pretty quick and everyone keeps everything they catch so the trout stocked are gone pretty quick. every once in a while you catch a hold over form previous years and can usually tell because it is a great deal bigger than the norm.. I need to get out in some free range waters and go after some wild trout... nice fish though....

Who's taking me trout fishing? You guys sound like you're knockin' em dead. I usually saltwater fish or try to get the occasional bass on the pond at home. Trout would be cool!
