I flung a few arrows this evening and it felt great. I haven't shot in so long that I forgot how good it feels to release that arrow and THUD hit the target. Of course I needed a little warming up to get back in the zone. I still have a LOT of warming up before hitting the wood next month.
Anybody else flinging some carbon?

I've been shooting all spring and summer. I have a 3D in my back yard and even if I only get to fling 5 or 6 I go out and shoot almost every day. Last week I put one arrow down range, about 28 yds, square in the vitals. Arrow #2 hit arrow #1 dead center in the nock! drove the nock down the center off the shaft and both arrows were in almost perfect alignment. I'm in need of a dozen new carbons, maybe August 18th will be my lucky day ;D I'll try to get a picture of the arrows loaded here sometime today.

Nice Shot Robin Hood! I did that once and took them apart to reuse the good one. I wish now I had made a little plaque and hung them on the wall together. Doesn't happen that often and would be a great conversation piece. Maybe i can do it again one day, yeah right.

that's why I took pictures this time, evidence and I need the arrows. This is the second time in 12 months I've made shots like this.

I am shooting in my garage like a man possessed. Ranges from 65 to 140 feet. Most excellent stress relief technique, and FAR BETTER than what you can see on the boob toob. I can honestly shoot a 65# for + 2hrs and not feel it the next morning.

I shoot off my deck. I have a few deer and bear. One deer on a pulley system. I make my wife use the pulley while I shoot to practice on a walking deer.
