Im just getting back into shooting a compound. shot traditional this past season after having a accident shooting the compound. One of my carbon arrows broke and hit me in the forearm. My dad talked me back into shooting a compound and with all the new gear out for there i don't know what i should get. I have a parker buck hunter set at sixty pounds with the basic prong style rest, 3 pin sight, and a 10 dollar stabilizer someone gave me. Just got a dozen easton epic arrows for it. I would like to get a nicer sight, a good stabilizer, a more secure rest, and a quiver set up(2piece detachable or hip) just not sure were to start looking. Thanks for any suggestions.

I like the new drop-away rest that are out now. My arrows fly much better with that set-up. As far as stabilizer I think anything that has a good amount of weight is good enough to absorb shock. Trophy Ridge makes some really nice sights but they will hit your wallet hard!
There is a shop down your way I think called "The Tree Stand" I hear it's a good bow shop run by a lady named Kim. You should check here out

I agree she knows her stuff. I personally went to a pendulem sight five years ago and it was the best thing I ever did. Very accurate from a tree. I use a whiskerbisquit but dropaways are great too. Sorry to hear about your accident, I can only imagine what that felt like. I use a hip quiver I hang on my stand, like five bucks from wally world.

Kim is very knowledgeable and her customer service is top notch. I would also suggest another archery shop in Glen Burnie called Macrotech. I just bought a bow from there in January and the service was probably the best I have ever had. Simply google search the store and you can find the phone number, hours, etc.
