Check out the size of this Mule deer taken by Paul V. Facchina, Jr. Sonora Desert Mule Deer (Muy Grande). I was not fortunate enough to be within bow range so I used the outfitters 7 mm rifle and shot him at 100 yds. Please enjoy the photos. Paul V. Facchina, Jr.

Mulies are pretty awesome. Hear they don't taste as good as whitetail though. But big bucks of any species never taste that good, too tuff.

That's a nice one, any details? I'm guessing 28" wide, 180-190 score? Pretty buck! Would seem very odd to me to hunt them anyplace that warm, but I'd like to try.

Would seem odd hunting deer in the desert, but I think I could get over that pretty quickly... ;D
