I was speaking with the coordinator of the pax sportsman 4 kids expo today. What a great way to introduce kids 10-15 to ethical hunting! Anyone with kids in that age range should try to get involved. One day, July 14th, and completely FREE and in Southern MD. Lots of activities and giveaways. Here's the website check it out. www.ps4kids.org They have out alot into this free event in hopes of getting kids interested in hunting. Its a dying sport with out the youth of today caring on the tradition tomorrow. Here's a little write up. Youth Sportsmen Day The Patuxent Sportsmen for Kids is a non-profit organization developed in conjunction with the Maryland Natural Resources Police and the Natural Resources Police Reserve Officers Assoc. Their mission is to expose kids in the southern Maryland area and all of the state to as many safe boating, hunting, fishing, and shooting activities as possible. They teach water safety, gun and bow safety, concepts of conservation and responsible hunting, boating and gun handling. All of which are essential to good citizenship. PS As if that wasn't enough Outback Steak House will be serving lunch to all attendees. ;D

I know this might be a dumb question but, where is the field day located in Southern Maryland?
I looked all over the website and could not figure it out.
