I hate to date myself but I don't think I've ever heard of Static-X? I do have some tickets to see Jimmy Buffet in Pittsburg in June though. A little more my speed I guess, we're going to make a weekend of it. It's only about 3 1/2 hours away from Frederick.

There's a good chance Static-X would scare you! Check out www.static-x.com to find out, it's pretty heavy, sorta evil disco/rave/metal. I like some wierd stuff...

Hey Osprey, make sure you remember where you park your jeep at Nissan Post. The Deer Hunter and I saw Pearl Jam there a few years ago and could not find his truck at the end of the show. So we just sat around and drank beer and waited for everyone Else to leave. I think we were the last vec to leave that night! Don't worry we did not drink and drive...that much ...really we were OK

Been there plenty of times for shows, never lost a vehicle yet. You didn't think you were at a Grateful Dead show and join in, did you? Just sucks it's such a long ride from here, 4 hours. Was even worse when I lived at OC. Best seats I've had there have been 7th row once for RUSH and FRONT ROW once for Metallica!!!!!!

You guys are into the heavy metal big time. In the 80's I'd listen to some AC/DC and in the 70's I listened to some Hendricks. I used to wear some wierd clothes in the 70's, beads, bell bottom jeans, long hair, wow, that was a long time ago. Now most of my hair grows everywhere but on my head.

Picture this Osprey, Rush, Ted Nugent, Niel Merriweather, and Budgie....2nd row center at an outdoor ampitheater on the shores of Hougton Lake in Michigan. It was the one of the best days of my life....1978.....Still gives me goose bumps...ROCK ON!!!!!!!

The best concert I ever went to was at US Air arena, opening act was George Thorogood and the Delaware destroyers - followed by ZZ Top, 10 rows back from the stag , center with back stage passes to meet the band and more important the ZZ girls!! I had the best time of my life, the beer was flowing that night.

I went to a John Micheal Montgomery concert at Nissan pavillion five or six years ago. Beers were like six or seven bucks EACH. Best concert I went to was HFStival 11 years ago. No doubt, Chili Peppers, Jimmies chicken shack, There were a lot more but I was experimenting with mind altering substances at the time. 16 years old and out of control. Those were the days. I always say I wouldn't want to do them again but wish I had done more at the time.

Captwahoo is from my generation. My first concert was with my older brother in '72, I think? Alice Cooper at the Capital Centre. OH MY GOD !! The smoke from the dope was so thick I know I got that contact high and then later the biggest headache I've ever had !
