I don't understand why there is no season for seagulls. What is the difference between them and other waterfowl, like coot or woodc0ck or snipe? As far as I'm concerned gulls are a nuisance animal. Eating trash, begging for potato chips and pooping every where. I compare them to a crow which has the longest hunting season compared to any other animal. Why can't we shoot Seagulls?

I thought the same thing myself!! There had to have been 5-7 thousand seagulls fly to the charles county dump from chapel point last week! It was amazing to see them come back! It was the hitchcock movie in real life! I think there should be a season for them! Also allow us to use the weapon of our choice, shotgun, .17 or.22 cal, grenade....

They've just never been considered a game animal, only reason I know of. Although, how many nimrods can actually tell a tern from a seagull, much less a laughing gull from a herring gull, so the bag limits would be lotsa fun to stick to.
