Season is out now, but comes back in after shotgun. Then it will be time to get some more!

You can check on the DNR website. There is some public land that you can access by land. There is a link to download the hunting and trapping guide on our main site, toward the bottom of the page. www.buckwildadventures.com

That too is available in southern Maryland. There is a listing of public lands on the DNR website, and also in the hunting and trapping guide. For the most part, I dont't thing that there is much bowhunting pressure either.

not much pressure. I might see 2 or 3 people a yr. DNR bought it 2 yrs ago. great spot swaps, hard woods. Now if I can only shoot them ducks with my bow it would be the best spot. Andy knows what I'm talking about ;D

I know of public land in St. mary's but don't think its bow only. Greenwell State park or Point Lookout state park. Or Myrtle Grove is in Charles county, also a good public land, but not bow only. The best bet is to get all the hunting you can in before the firearm seasons come around. Happy Hunting.
