I don't see anybody talking about the Bay near Point No Point/Point Lookout this month and it has been hot! We are having a big mackerel run for the first time in a long time. The blues and stripers are mixed in and trolling or casting clarke spoons is the ticket for the mackerel. You can get the blues and stripers that way too. This past week the blues and stripers have come up a notch in size and I can't believe more people aren't down here fishing. The croaker out by the Target ship are still citation sized, the flounder are still running and the occasional drum and trout are being caught. This is my first time on here and Crowbait is the only fishing name I recognize so far. Anybody else from Tidal Fish post here also? Nice website Buckmaster. When are you coming back down with the rest of the boys to see us again?

I hit tidal fish from time to time, but not that often, and usually in the crabbing section.
Did take the kids fishing last week, and my daughter caught 6 species in one LONG drift in Pax: Croaker, spot, white perch, blue, striper, and my old friend, the toadfish.
I NEED to squeeze in a few more trips. Getting into that time of year when there is TOO much good stuff to do.
I guess if you're going to have a problem, that's the one to have!

Thanks!

I'm a TF member too, but don't post much, another of the arguing sites from what I've seen. I do need to get out fishing more, but it's that time of year I'm looking toward the woods.

Stop by and see us if you do go fishing. We are Buzz's Marina and my husband Michael always has the latest info on what's happening. He went out last night and got a 47 inch red drum on light tackle. Today he went out for about an hour and got four mackerel and two blues. The fishing is at it's summer best right now.

I will stop by, this is the pepsi guy from bryans rd. food lion. Let me know also if you need help controlling those pesky deer on your farm. I am ALWAYS willing to lend a hand with that, especially on a piece of property as nice as yours!

Hello Pepsi guy. I saw your name on here last night. We have loads of deer. We dug a new huge pond today, it is so cool. We left an island the shape of a keyhole and dug the pond all around the keyhole shape. The deer will like that! A stupid buck walked out in front of my lawnmower the other day. The big z-track at three in the afternoon! Yeah, he's gonna be the first fool to go I am sure.

I will talk to buckmaster and maybe give you guys a call. He scouted like two years ago and said it was loaded. Maybe if you guys give the o.k. we could make a afternoon hunt and buy you guys dinner or something? Good to hear from you, anxious to see what you guys have done with the marina since last time a dropped off that banner.

When does the season start? Forgive me I am all about the fish:) We have a logger coming pretty soon to take out most of those woods. He is leaving eight trees per acre so the deer will be losing cover. We will still have the other side but I don't know if Michael lets people go on that side because of the horses. You and Buckmaster would be very welcome to talk to him. I know you would be responsible and not shoot my horses!

September 15th is the opener for archery. I would only want to archery hunt there. Your horses would be safe and sound! I'm afraid of horses anyway, so I would stay as far away from them as possible.

That will be fine if the loggers aren't in there. Just call me when you get ready. All our info is on www.buzzsmarina.com or ask Hambone or whatever he is calling himself these days:)
