Aren't you suppossesd to take video of the HITS? ;D
And what do you do when they are JUST undersized? Stick and release?
Actually, I'm just jealous as hell. Looks like a blast!

yeah I know, I wish we would have had more video of the hits. I did get a lot more video on my other cam. I have a few hit shots on that one. Should have something up soon. Size limit was 15in most of the fish shot were 16-17in. Wish we had gotten into some bigger ones but we still had a Blast!

Looks like you guys had fun. Sure wish I could have been there! Kind of weird you are allowed to shoot fish that have a minimum size.

I want to thank the deer hunter for letting me borrow his bowfishing rig for the SC trip. Even though I didn't put any fish on it (I ended up using BuckMaster's setup while he filmed) I think I would have if we saw more fish.
It started as a windy night and we motored around for about an hour or hour and a half before working our way up a creek where it was narrower and the wind wasn't kicking the water up as much. It is amazing how big a difference between high and low tide there is in those bays and creeks right off the ocean. It was a long night but will worth the lack of sleep. I hope I get a chance to do it again.
Hopefully BuckMaster can get some more footage up soon.

We've been talking about trying to build a similar, but probably less agile boat for another trip. Can anyone weld??? One of the problems is you MUST have a metal hull because of the oyster beds that are just below the surface. We ran into several that night and had to rock the boat around to get off of them.
It is also a perfect place to gig if you have a smaller boat.

It was a ton of fun. We had an excellent bowfisherman who knew the waters well take us and missed a few fish as well. Saw mullet(lots), sheephead, crabs, a stingray, sea turtles, diamondback terapins, konch snails, flounder and tripletail. Awesome time. This weekend bowfishing Southern Stingray in Ocean City. Let the good times roll.

Sure hope they are in there thick. That's a heck of a drive to get skunked on.
