My first goldfish ever, 14 1/2 inches long and fat. Second one I have seen this year. I shot him behind the gill and it came out the bottom. Since no vitals were hit we stuck him in the live well and then in the deer hunters fish tank in his house with his oscar. I'll bring him to my house if he survives the next few days and he will be my new pet!

Around chaptico its only cownose ray or skate that we bowfish for. Because the waters too salty. Down in the potomac near bryans road or fortwashigton, its fresh water. Largemouth bass, bluegill, etc. The only fish you can bowfish for there are carp, gar, and goldfish. Lots of carp and gar at times of the year. I think someone on the site posted a place off indian bridge road that has carp but I don't know any details.
