I am finally going to go turkey hunting next week and I have a couple of questions.
Is there a limit on the number of shells that can be loaded in the gun?
Does the hunting signifintly slow down when it is raining?
Thanks for your help!

1 in the chamber and 2 in the magazine is the limit on shells if I'm not mistaken. If luck is on your side, the rain won't matter. You know what they say, I'd rather hunt outside in the rain than work inside with the sun shining.

If your gun can handle more than 3 shells, I believe it has to be plugged so that it cant handle more. If it's raining the turkeys might head to more open areas (fields) as opposed to staying in wooded lots.

Heavy downpour will hurt you, but a light drizzle, especially on a really warm ,calm day, will make it incredible. Head for fields or open areas, that's where the birds will go on those latter conditions.

I have heard the same. Also after a heavy down pour ends, they go to the firelds to strut and preen themselves. If you can locate them on the roost, do some light calling, and hopefully they will come looking for you. Good luck sideways, I hope you get a bird!
