That sounds like big fox to me. He will sleep anywhere at any time. Here is him goose hunting......... Too bad he didn't get anything - Mabye the turkey do know to stay away from the fox. You didn't happen to get a pic like I did, did you???

No, didn't get a pic, was hoping a bird would come in and I could wake him with a shotgun blast! You better not pick on him too bad, or he'll tell everybody ELSE about your favorite screen saver.

Frank knows what screen saver Osprey is referring too... it is the one of the pics some jack hole posted here about going hunting with his grandpa... It was a fun hunt but no luck, Osprey is a hell of a nice guy and i think we had fun. got to see soem beautiful land and some pretty nice Sika trails. no deer though. seen a few ducks, geese, a ringneck pheasent, and a few turkeys while riding around. seen one jake but he was on a property we could not access. All in all a nice hunt and Osprey even gave me some Crab Brats and a piece of Sika meat to take home so i would not leave empty handed.. ........Thanks Osprey, and i expect a full report today

I do hope there hasn't been a transfer of luck from the fox to the great bird. Zippo today. Decided at the last minute to try my place this morning, but only heard one bird a mile or two away and I think across the Little Choptank. Nada. Then went back to a public tract, waded through foot deep water to reach a sand ridge, sat for an hour or more and never saw a bird. The jakes better beware, my finger is getting a bit itchy... Had fun yesterday Andy, glad to finally meet you and get out for the morning!

Speaking of Big Fox, I got a pic of him this Sunday when we went out rockfishing. To anyone that knows him, this is quite a familiar site.....

I believe I've made one of the greatest miscalculations of recent memory by taking the Fox hunting - mere association seems to have transferred his jinx to me, I'm having one of my worst seasons in a long time, and since that day have barely heard a bird. I think you're going to be on your own for sika at this rate buddy!
