I hunt Eastern Shore, private in Dorchester and public from Dorchester southward for a few counties, and try to get up to Garrett/Allegany once a year to hunt public. Afraid all of that's still a good ride for ya coming from St. Mary's.

I hunt private land in Charles county. I've never hunted the turkeys there but I've been seeing them on the property for several years now. We decided after the state or whoever started putting birds out all over the state years ago, that we would leave them alone for a while. I found out last fall that someone has been hunting them on our property so this year I'm there! I've only ever hunted turkeys one other time but I'm going to give it a shot.

I hunt Charles county opening day. St. Mary's second day, Charles third and my back yard on the fourth(new flock established this year.) On the fifth day, I will be cleaning and cooking both of my toms. LOL.

Tell him, Osprey. That sure is my plan! Starting the 3rd morning, I'll be taking out those unfortunate ones.

Well the third and fourth day I'll only be armed with a camera to take pictures and field reports to aid others in the harvesting/killing of their birds. I like to let my birds age thus cleaning and cooking on Sunday. Wouldn't that be sweet.

I'll be hunting youth day tomorrow, Had a great chance on youth day last year, but my boy blew the shot. He was 13, now he's 14......I will be filming this one for his Mom. Lots of excuses last year, when you have it on film, it tells the whole story. Just hope we're not hunting in the snow.
