Whats the best why to pluck a turkey? On my first turkey last year I just pulled the feathers out. Is there a better way to do it?

I just eat the feathers, they go down dry but makes your poopie fly out...

I just skin and fillet the breasts off 'em, same as ducks and geese. I don't plan on roasting any of them whole, so there's no point in plucking them! And every time I've cut the legs off and tried to use them they've been as chewy as one of my dog's toys.

I roasted mine whole last year & it was yummy! After the first night, I plucked the rest of the bird, legs & all & made stir-fry. Double yummy. ;D ;D

What about deep-frying? I bet that would be good.

I pluck and cut out the breast meat. Then grill it usually marinated in teraki water mix to keep it moist. To fry, I dunk in boiling water, then pluck. My dad did all the frying after that.
