Anyone hear any gobbles this weekend? By the way, here is a pic from a bird (jake) that I took last year. Look at all the green!

Haven't heard any yet. I may go out in two weeks and do some locating calls. Just to hear that sweet sound of gobbling in the morn. Looks early in the season, congrats on the bird. Can't wait!

i was a smallwood state park this morning and i seen two long beards and i was calling with my bare mouth and i had them two fired up they were gobbling like crazy and i could hear all the hens in the background yelping got me fired up...

Haven't heard any, bud did see a few gobblers strutted up with about 10 other birds yesterday. Just a quick glimpse down a farm lane as I passed, don't know if they were with hens or not...

For the past few days I've seen 'em strutting in Somerset and Worcester counties, and on VA's eastern shore. All were big groups of hens with a few gobblers thrown in.
