I was just wondering if anyone got any new hunting gear under the tree. If your families are like mine than 80% of your gifts involve hunting in some form. I still can't wipe the smile off my face because my wife surprised, or rather shocked me, with an '07 Yamaha Grizzly 700. Camo package 4x4 that I spent half of Christmas day in the woods riding in the rain. Its my first four wheeler ever. Been waiting ten years to get one. Can't wait to put it to use. Best Christmas ever, even if that price tag almost made me want to return it. (almost) Parents in law gave me a bushnell rangefinder. I would have been thrilled with that alone!

Well my parents came over to watch their grandkids open presents. After they left, me and the wife exchanged gifts. We were finished up and about to go to her parents when she said she had hidden one gift. After a game of hot or cold, I found a big box that contained a small box with a key in it. Saw it was a yamaha but that was it. I knew it was a four wheeler key. She had it stached in her parents garage. That was the longest twenty minute drive. On the way she told me it was a few years old, two wheel drive and a 250. I didn't care what size it was just couldn't wait to see it. I stood in front of the garage doors as they opened and saw she had been telling me things to throw me off. Brand new and BIG! She got the reaction on film I havn't watched it yet. I imagine lots of smiling and perhaps a little drool. Used it to dump 100 pounds of corn, which was awesome, and just cruise around and explore. Never, ever, expected it at all. Spent an hour washing it off in the rain when I was done.

Hardcorehunter, I had an out-dated wish list at Cabela's and this was the year everyone decided to buy from it, so I'm returning some things and ordering a new 20' ladder stand, a strap-on stand and some new Herters waterproof coveralls. It don't compare to that Yamaha 700 grizzly! That womens in love and Hardcorehunter, you are one lucky guy! your gonna love that Grizzly, I have had my 600 Grizzly for about 5 years now and I love it. That women your with sounds like a real keeper. Good luck
