Deer rack, specifically, before some of you perverts take off with it... I had my hands on a 198 gross, 192 net typical the other night! One of the gun gurus I work with building flintlocks has a loft full of old racks, told him I'd score some for him and it was a slow night this week, sooo.... He had some nice Talbot bucks, 130-140 class range, a cool non-typ with a 8" drop tine 150 gross class, and then pulls out this huge typical. Knew it was big, but bigger than I'm used to so didn't even want to guess. 14" G-2's and G-3's, 10 point frame, 22 1/2" inside spread, just a gorgeous buck. He shot it shotgun, near Centerville, 1974. Only sad thing is it can't be officially scored - it was running and he shot it several times, and when it cartwheeled the main beam on one side broke just above the base. He's got it epoxied together, but the record books won't take 'em like that. Would have been at or near the state record for that time, just an awesome deer to lay your hands on...

Hard to top that one deer hunter. I don't know how to score but my old next door neighbor growing up gave me a rack from a 13 pointer he shot in bel alton in the seventies. Heavy antlers with lots of little kickers and stickers. I would guess it would have scored in the 170's or 180's.
