Anybody seeing any poults? I came home yesterday and on the road just before my place saw two hens with 17 small poults, maybe 3 weeks old. Saw a hen with a dozen last month on a nieghbors farm, too.

Still seeing young birds! Saw a hen with 2-3 young birds, maybe 5-6" tall, this week while chopping field grass, saw them again in the field this morning with the binocs. Yesterday was walking in my lane and jumped, along the hedge between the fields, two hens with maybe a dozen young birds about 3/4 grown. Young turkeys were flushing up into the pine tops and blowing out of there like giant quail. Darn cool. I've actually seen more young birds this year than any other in the past, can't wait to see how that translates for next spring.

Haven't seen any yet, but I usually do on the way home from work crossing the roads.

I saw some down in Newburg....
funny enough, A tom ran across the street in front of the car ahead of me on "Turkey Hill Rd" the other day....maybe thats where the name came from. In any event, it was one lucky bird because that car almost took him out. :-O
