Know it is kind of late to ask, but I'm gonna give it a try this afternoon.
Any tips? I, probably like most others on here am new to afternoon turkey hunting.
Has anyone on here gotten out in the afternoons? What was their experience with in? Any luck, gobbles, sightings?

My cousin and his friend each got one at 4:30-4:45. I went at 6pm and saw one, heard a couple. He locked up in the woods though I couldn't get him.
I noticed that 4ish was the magic hour along field edges.

I agree that 4 is a great hour! From 4 to 5:30 I was talking to some birds across a swamp. They did not come across and I am not able to go to them so had to sit and wait. No luck in evening this year. Only went three times though. Hope you had some luck!
