Last few days have been hot in the woods. I've heard a lot of gobbling by a lot of different birds. I killed this one this morning at 0730. I set up on him three times because he would come in then drift, come in then drift. At one point I nearly walked right on top of him. The woods are so green on the Shore, you can't see in many places more than 10 yds. I finally wedged between two gobblers and called in a hen. Once she was there I knew I was golden. I first saw him at 20yds and killed him at 15yds. It's just that thick. Light bird at 16.5 lbs but he had 1 1/8" Spurs and a 9 3/4"" Beard.

Thanks Brett. I actually took the picture myself using a cheap tripod from Wal-Mart. Pictures from my early years of hunting consisted of dead game hanging upside down with poor backdrops. Trying to make more appealing memory reminders
