Wasn't sure where I should post this, but it sure is nice to live on the shore and have friends with 4-wheel drive (thanks Osprey). We got together today and did some killing.

Great day. Went sika hunting and saw ducks everywhere, so we went back and grabbed shotguns and of course the first thing we saw was a sika, so changed back into orange, grabbed the muzzleloaders out of the Jeep, killed the little doe, then back into camo and grabbed the shotguns again and started jumpshooting ducks. Don't get much better than that for a day!!

Heck of a shot on that sika! I imagine only its ears were visible above the snow! ;D
weight? a buddy and I used to try to outdo each other ,with the smallest. he's down to 18# even, but we saw one checked in that was 12# and I've seen a few thit I think were even smaller!
Looks like you all had a GREAT day!

Didn't weigh it Dave, didn't really want to know! It did take both hind quarters to make one pot of chili...
