There is a piece of property for sale just before the store at the flashing light on budd's creek road. I looks like flooded timber from the road. I have looked at a the boundries from the realtor plat, and about half is on one side of the road, and half on the other side of Budd's creek road. Looking for some good hunting property down that way, and am interested. Anyone know this property? is it all swamp? Let me know.

Just make sure the Amish haven't been in there,or adjacent to it. They're right hard on God's tasty creatures! ;D

You’re right on that one, but they still have to abide by the law. Trespass applies to all men. If they are in the wrong, call them on it! I had the same problem in New York. They think they are exempt from posters.

I hunt a 1/2 mile or so from there and its the best whitetail hunting in the state, I know that property very well 75 acres of the 153 is high ground the rest is swamp . A hunting club has been leasing it as long as i can remember and they have a hunting camp on it , the amish have already checked into buying it but theres not enough high ground for them. I heard the owners were asking 750,00 for it which is cheap but half of it is and will never be any good for anything other than hunting.

That sounds great, I pass that piece of property every time I go to my Dad's in Compton. We are looking for some good waterfowl property. I have been in touch with the owner, and are trying to make a deal with him. We'll see. Thanks
By the way, If anyone knows of a Large piece of property in Southern Maryland for hunting, we are looking to buy.
