There are many reasons I love to hunt, Most of all I just love being out in the woods. I have gone many a day never drawing the bow, or pulling the trigger, yet I come home with a smile on my face. I have sat in pouring rain, heavy snow, sleet and gale force winds, yet I still can't wait to get back in the woods. My wife calls it an addiction. I call it the American Way. I have a couple of pictures that say it all for me. My dad playing cards with my son. . My Oldest son's first Stud. . And my Bro's loading up the Meat Wagon at the end of a great week. . For Me, It doesn't get any better than this. God Bless America

Excellent pics Reminds me of deer seasons past. Lost our camp this year, and really missed the atmosphere. It's great seeing multiple generations sharing the experience. If you have the time, you might want to listen to this since you seem to be saying the same thing!

I agree with what has been posted already. I can clearly remember being a small boy and following my father around the wood like it was yesterday. I come from divorced parents and my father would pick me up on Friday evening and the first think we would do is go check his trap line. He trapped and fished for a living for about three years back in the late seventies. I get so much enjoyment getting him out of the house and dragging him through the woods with me now and forcing him to hunt with me as much as possible. My knowledge has far exceeded his with respect to deer hunting and he now follows me around when were scouting for deers stand sites. It's just funny how our relationship has gone full circle. I'm 38 now and he's 61 i try to pack as many memories as possible in every year because i know one day he wont be there.

Hunt for the same reasons ,nature's a great place to spend time with family ,doesn't matter if its hunting or fishing.Do my best to pass on things I learned from my grandpa and father to my two boys ,if you don't teach them about it the streets will !
