Nice cold morning but only some doe action. Beautiful evening but same result, nothing more than a few does. Partner saw nice buck, head down looking for love, no shot . Muzzle loader right around the corner!

Hunted morning and evening and saw not one deer. Tried new property in the am. Productive property in the past in the pm. Nothing seen at all. But that how it goes sometimes right. Did anyone else's boots freeze to your treestand in the morning? If I left them on the platform more than 5 seconds they would stick and make a loud noise when I picked up my foot. Now thats cold.

Hunted the mountain saturday, 11 degree's and quiet. We are trying to kill a few doe's for the next couple of weeks, ended up with 2 and 1 little button buck. ooops, he will be a tasty little guy. One group was 13 deer deep. Can't believe no buck trailing them? Gonna give em hell next week.

I saw nothing saturday either. Hunting that nanjemoy property that is new this year. Have seen 5 different deer all season there. 8 point THAT I LET GO, 4 pt, and three doe. Haven't figured that place out yet! Shooting on a farm near by and across the road, all about 300-400 yards away. Looking forward to getting out maybe one or two days for muzzleloader season.
