Does anyone have one going? I've been a little late getting stuff in, but have some peas that are almost ready.

I've got mine going. Rabbits ate the snow peas before I got the fence up, but 6 types of tomatoes, 5 types of peppers, 2 of cukes, bush beans, red and white onions, Max and sugar pumpkins, spaghetti squash, zuchinni all are growing strong. Four pickup loads of horse manure this winter and a new tractor this spring have things looking good!

Any of you try those red plastic trays that go around the plants? The ones where you can feed and water through the tray? I tried some this year, sounded like it could help, but I've been dissapointed. The plants with grass clipping mulch are growing bigger and better than with the trays.

Ours are terrible this year-everything that ain't dead is yellowed up, probably from drowning! Replanted a bunch of stuff.Squash is good, but other than that....
Grapes are a bright spot; so heavy they're pulling the fence down!
We planted our hog pen after they turned it and fertilized it for a few months. Didn't turn out like I planned, but again, could be all the rain. I'll toss a few more in come fall, and let them work it up again.
It DID grow some GREAT pork!

I've got a mixed bag so far. New spots and raised beds are kicking butt. I'm picking a grocery bag of cukes every other day! Tomatoes are just beginning. The spots I planted in the old garden site, including my pumpkins, are already failing. Believe it or not it's gotten dry here and the salt is beginning to kick in on those areas. Dam tides... But the wild blackberry patches I pick are just starting and are LOADED. Picked a pint today, by next week it'll be a gallon per afternoon.

Mine is full of cucumber & carrots - got a bunch of pumpkins up (over 1,000 plants) , but only an inch or so tall. Could really use some rain to get them going.
