This one will be having a permanent home with me. Not my biggest mirror carp. I shot a 42lb years ago but this one is way past the best looking fish I have ever shot.

Lol...just looked at the picture. Mirror Carp ? Over here on this side of the Bay that is a "Leather Back" Nice.

i caught one on a rod that looked exactly like that one a few weeks ago. where did you shoot that one at?

Lol...just looked at the picture. Mirror Carp ? Over here on this side of the Bay that is a "Leather Back" Nice. A Leather carp will not have hardly any scales at all and a true Leather will not have any at all where Mirror/ German will have large irregular pattern scales and possibly only a few missing scales. Here is a leather carp
