;D ;D ;D Man it is getting close ! Turkey season will be here for you know it! Has anyone been out scouting ? Anybody here any gobbling yet? This year is going to be a challenge with both of my boys playing spring flag football, i don,t know how much time it will leave me for turkeys. I vote for sunday hunting for turkeys!

Went out Saturday just checking out the fields. Saw 2 jakes & 1 longbeard just hanging out about 50 yards from the home-made blind that I scored from last spring. Can't wait!!!!

Man i remember when you posted that awesome turkey kill. Building a blind out of pines, that is definetly one of the best turkey hunting set ups i,ve ever heard! A natural blind, didn,t you get that one with a bow?

I’m mixed about Sunday turkey hunting. Private land, do whatever, but on public, I like the fact that most birds only get messed with once a week by the less dedicated and experienced hunters. I work weekends so I can have the woods to myself mid week, but I can sympathize with those that are not that fortunate. New York has Sunday hunting but there again, I have private land to hunt there so hunter competition and frustration are not present.

I can,t take off work, so i can only hunt on saturdays. It is on private land, so for me sundays would be awesome.

Seen a decent gobbler this morning, firs tone in a while. A buddy says he'd heard them a few mornings this week.
I don't know who is more excited, my or my daughter: this will be her first turkey season. She's camo'ing her 20 ga tonight!
