When I was hunting Friday at Blackwater I got to play Sika Seducer tag! There was a guy on the next private property bordering the refuge, saw his light in the dark when he came in, but couldn't see him up the tree (300+ yds away). I bugled once early and he answered me several times, heard him mewing and chirping a few times. I bugled once or twice over the morning just to get him cranked, he answered me every time. Sounded okay, but I could definitely tell it wasn't a real sika. More practice maybe??

Thats a hoot. Last year I moved in on a bugling stag and tried to bugle him in. A different stag bugled a few times within 100 yards as well...nice situation. So...me and two real stags making a few bugles. Long story short, the first stag wouldn't get close enough for the shot.
The next day a guy who hunted close to where I was, told on a forum about hearing three people blowing Seducers at each other the night before...what a hoot

I had 2 of my buddies fooled the other day. I told them that stag was me. I can usually tell the difference though.
