Someone tell me about Scotts Bar down there near Welcome or something. My buddy went there 2 weeks ago blind drunk after a wedding and doesn't remember anything other then it was the greatest place ever.

My best friends mom bought the place and is trying to make it nice again. She is going to re-open the carryout very soon.

Ann & Richard Hash bought the bar. Her dad Mr Bowie owned it a long time ago and then sold it to fred and he sold to other people. She decided she wanted to get it back in the family and make it a nice place again.

Scotts II is on Route 6 in Welcome, between Port Tobacco and Ironsides. AKA - Scotts general store. Have Fun !!
Scott's II 7070 Port Tobacco Rd. Welcome, MD 20693 (301) 934-1604.
After hunting in Nanjemoy we usually go to Laplata for dinner and then work the bars back to my friends house, Port Tobacco marina tiki bar, Blue Dog then to Scotts II

WOW, talk about a blast from the past! I used to play softball for Scott's store back in the day! Been awhile since I've been in there as well. Used to be another store right up the road, I think it was called Milo's or something like that. Glad to hear Scotts is comming back around.
